FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared) spectrometers are advanced instruments widely used in geology, chemistry, and biology research, capable of simultaneously collecting high-spectral-resolution data across a broad spectral range, making them invaluable tools for analyzing the composition and properties of various substances. RAM2000 G3-OP
NEW! Mobile, inexpensive, compact, and highly configurable
The RAM2000 G3-OP is designed for transportable and mobile OP-FTIR field projects. This compact spectrometer is customer-inspired for applications that require a lightweight and smaller Open-Path FTIR. The powerful 6″ telescope works efficiently up to 200 meter ranges (400 meters round trip). The rugged G3-OP is well suited for regulatory agencies, consultants, research institutions, and customers with termed field programs. The complete open-path system with retro-reflectors fits securely into a 28″x20″x16″ transport case. The G3-OP produces low noise and high-quality data, and is controlled by RMMSoft or Peak Spectroscopy software for compliance to TO-16 or ASTM procedures.

RAM2000 G2-OP
Designed for industrial installations and fence line monitoring
The G2-OP is designed for fixed installations such as refineries, petro chemical plants, and industrial facilities. The G2-OP is the leading choice for long-term unattended fence-line monitoring for the compliance set by regulatory agencies. The thermally controlled bench for optimal stability accepts fixed and multi-pass cells for QA/QC. It also has an integrated auto postioner for multiple beam paths, and an integrated weather station for pollution roses. The G2-OP offers automatic trigger or warning alarms, automatic data averaging, and simple integration for web-based data publishing.

This compact ftir spectrometer is customer inspired for applications that require a smaller lightweight extractive cell-based FTIR. The flexible design allows gas cells from 2cm up to 100m to be attached.

The RAM2000-AA Ambient Air monitor is a robust FTIR analyzer designed for continuous unattended monitoring of chemicals in the ambient air. The analyzer combines a rugged FTIR spectrometer with a sensitive gas cell and integrated meteorological station so that all data is measure at the same discrete time interval. Data collected by both the FTIR and meterological station are stored conveniently together in a single file.
The RAM2000-AA gas library contains more than 250 gas references including volatile organic compounds (VOC’s,) and Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP’s). Many toxic industrial chemicals such as BTEX, freons, alcohols,and other chemicals have references available.

gas stream can be directed into the gas cell through fittings in the
instrument bulkhead. This arrangement allows the system to be used
for measuring the concentration of gases in process or exhaust gas

streams, often referred to as “extractive FTIR monitoring.” The telescope assembly can be removed or remain attached when using gas cells. When using gas cells with the telescope attached, the IR source energy can be directed out through the telescope to a reflector and then back to the detector. This arrangement facilitates QC procedures like those in Compendium Method TO-16. Cylinder gases can be flowed into the cells to create new infrared reference spectra.
